Nathalie was raised in Washington State and came to Tennesseee just for the counseling experience here with us at Matters of the heart! She received her Masters in Counseling in Spring of 2025, and Bachelor’s in Community Psychology from the University of Washington.
During her undergraduate work she first became an advocate for the Deaf Community, which continues now in her work with those in need in our community of care. After significant loss as a teen, she was introduced to the world of counseling. Learning coping skills and how to process grief showed her how valuable counseling was.
Now, her mission is to support individuals in need of compassion, empathy, and empowerment in their journey towards a more hopeful, healthier life.
Nathalie shows up with a balance of warmth and compassion, as well as promotes challenging stuck places and empowerment to others see that THEY are the expert in their own lives and are capable of being the change that helps them get to where they want to be.With a holistic approach, knowing all areas of life/lifestyle have an impact on mental health,
Nathalie looks forward to working alongside you through this journey, bringing a gentle, genuine, and empathetic approach into creating a safe space. Nathalie’s biggest inspirations are her friends, mentors, and the Deaf community that changed her life. Whether it’s your first time in counseling or you are returning, you are welcome!
