Melody is from a small town in Westchester, New York, but has called Nashville her second home for the last 7 years. Driven by her interest in learning about the vastness of the human mind, she decided to pursue a bachelor’s degree in psychology at Belmont University. Her journey was inspired by her younger cousin, Sami, who has autism. Sami has profoundly impacted Melody’s life and ignited her passion for wanting to be an advocate for others.
In 2025, Melody felt called to return to Belmont and pursue a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She discovered that her passion lies beyond advocacy; she believes in the significance of connection and wants to walk alongside others on their journey. Healing begins with cultivating a space where people can feel safe showing their authentic selves, and she hopes to provide that for individuals, couples, and families. She strives to challenge others to embrace vulnerability; believing that looking inward, as well as reflecting on past experiences and relational patterns, are essential to moving forward. In addition, she is passionate about guiding others in recognizing their unique strengths and using them as a foundation for growth.
In her free time, Melody loves baking and is often found searching for a new recipe. In addition, she deeply values time with her loved ones. Whether it’s going on a long hike, playing with her dogs, or unwinding with a reality TV marathon, she finds joy in slowing down and making meaningful memories.
